I think I really hate sewing now.
Or I should stop trying to sew at 11 o’clock at night.
Just tried taking a seam out and ripped the fabric. Yay! Just because I was being impatient. It should be easy to fix/hide but it’s still annoying…so no more sewing tonight.

I’m sick of seeing people label every stuffed animal they make as “Amigurumi”. Amigurumi is simply the Japanese word for crochet or knit stuffed animal. It’s really stupid, and the only difference between Amigurumi and, I guess, boring old “regular” stuffed animals, is that you don’t chain one and join to the next round, you just keep going around. People outside of Japan have done that before the newer Japanese crochet books were being published anyways. It’s hardly even a technique—it’s just one less stitch and you’ll probably need to get some stitch markers if you suck at counting. I’m also pretty sure that a lot of the stuffed animals I see being labeled as Amigurumi are not even following the Amigurumi technique, they’re just sewing cutesy anime inspired faces onto them.
This is the same thing when anime fangirls replace half of their vocabulary with Japanese words they can’t even pronounce right, like “Kawaii” for cute and “Sugoi” for cool. It’s just unnecessary.
